ABOUT US

 

The Forty Five Club is a private members Club that was formed in 1945, and was originally a 'men's only' club (not anymore though!) It's located in a beautiful three storey Victorian house built in 1893, situated at “Hillesden”, 92 Lancaster Road, Newcastle under Lyme.

 

We serve the best Bass in town, and have one rotating guest beer on, which changes to something new each time the barrels runs out. What's best is that you, as members, have an input on the stock we get in too! We also have a wide selection of gins, Fever Tree tonics, lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks. We don't serve food but do sell snacks, and have the occasional cheeseboard night!

In the building, you'll find a full-size snooker table and a pro-standard pool table (members only), dartboard, and a couple of vintage bar games. If none of that takes your fancy, we also have Sky Sports for all your football/rugby needs. A bowling green is also available for members.

Whether you need a room for an event, fancy getting dressed up for a 70s night or just want to come down for a drink and a chat, The 45 Club is the place for it.
